Materials Manager Jobs
A Materials Manager in the logistics industry is crucial for overseeing the planning, procurement, storage, and distribution of materials and products. They are responsible for coordinating with suppliers, determining the level of supplies needed, managing inventory levels, and ensuring materials are available for production and services. They undertake quality assessments of purchases, manage supplier relationships, and strive to reduce costs without compromising quality. This role requires them to work closely with other departments such as production, distribution, and finance to ensure a smooth supply chain process.
