Sourcing Manager Jobs in Hawthorne, CA
A Sourcing Manager in the logistics industry is primarily responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of purchasing goods, products, and services for a company. They develop and execute sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers, and conduct vendor evaluations to ensure their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements. Prior to becoming a Sourcing Manager, a person may have roles such as Procurement Specialist, Supply Chain Analyst, or Purchasing Manager, which provide a solid foundation of the purchasing process, vendor relations, and contract management in logistics.
