Shipping and Receiving Supervisor Jobs in Illinois
A Shipping and Receiving Supervisor in the logistics industry is primarily responsible for managing and overseeing all shipping and receiving operations. Their duties involve ensuring that products are accurately and efficiently shipped and received in a timely manner, tracking inventory, managing warehouse staff, maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines, and resolving any shipping or receiving discrepancies. They also coordinate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth operation of the supply chain.
For this role, excellent organizational and leadership skills are crucial.
