The Receiving Clerk reports directly to the Distribution Center Manager, providing data entry for the receiving of inventory into and out of the inventory database, assisting with physical inventories, receipt inspection requirements, and conducting cycle counts, as well as physically receiving inventory into the stock room and warehouse.
Key Responsibilities and Duties :
Match receiving documentation to purchase orders (PO) and maintain accurate filing
Perform quality assurance checks on incoming products to ensure compliance with standards
Assist in the receipt inspection process for all incoming products
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory maintenance tasks
Collaborate with the fulfillment team to support order fulfillment needs
Receive and process RMAs
Support various tasks and duties as required by management
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Equivalent experience or relevant technical coursework required
0-2 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or a related technical field
Basic understanding of quality concepts, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to learn quickly, ask questions, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Interest in developing skills and continuous improvement
Familiarity with basic inspection tools or electronic test equipment is a plus
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills
Familiarity with quality tools (Six Sigma, statistical analysis) and QMS
Must be familiar with the most common material handling equipment and be a licensed forklift truck operator
Salary: $18-$22/hr.
