Position Summary
The Seed Warehouseman plays a key role in the daily operations of a seed warehouse facility. This position is responsible for receiving, processing, storing, and shipping seed products while maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and safety. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
Receive, unload, and organize incoming seed shipments.
Accurately verify product quantities, lot numbers, and documentation.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, and other warehouse equipment.
Stack, store, and rotate seed products according to company protocols.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Seed Processing & Packaging
Assist with seed cleaning, conditioning, and blending operations.
Package seed into bags or totes, applying correct tags and labels.
Monitor equipment for proper operation and report any issues.
Ensure all seed handling follows quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Inventory Control
Conduct regular physical counts and help reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Update inventory systems accurately and in a timely manner.
Track lot identity to maintain full traceability of all products.
Shipping & Logistics
Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Load trucks safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with drivers, customers, and team members to coordinate shipments.

Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift 5060 lbs routinely and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Basic math and reading skills for inventory and documentation.
Willingness to work overtime or seasonally extended hours as needed.
Preferred
Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
Prior experience in agriculture, seed handling, or warehouse operations.
Understanding of seed quality, lot tracking, or agricultural processes.
