Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hard-working Warehouse Associate for a contract/temporary opportunity in Nashville, TN. This role is ideal for a hands-on warehouse professional who enjoys staying active, working as part of a team, and contributing to a productive manufacturing and operations environment.

The Warehouse Associate will support daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, stocking, order pulling, material handling, and loading and unloading trucks. This position offers a structured work environment with clear expectations, safety training, supportive supervision, and the opportunity to build experience across multiple warehouse functions. Candidates who are reliable, safety-focused, and able to work at a steady pace will be well positioned for success.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform warehouse tasks including shipping, receiving, stocking, order pulling, material handling, and truck loading and unloading.
- Follow direction from the warehouse supervisor or team lead to complete assigned work accurately and on time.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the work area.
- Adhere to OSHA requirements and company safety procedures while handling materials, equipment, solvents, and cleaners.
- Complete required paperwork and ensure documentation is processed properly.
- Work as part of a coordinated team to meet productivity, quality, and operational goals.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Perform high-volume warehouse duties in a manufacturing, production, or operations environment.
- Support shipping, receiving, stocking, order pulling, and material handling activities.
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain productivity, quality, cleanliness, and safety standards in the warehouse.

- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience required, or 1 year of warehouse experience with the company.
- Ability to read instructions, perform basic math, and write legibly.
- Ability to follow directions, manage time effectively, and complete assigned work within established timelines.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and regularly handle tool cases, assorted equipment, and materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to move objects on wheels that may weigh up to 700 pounds.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, reach, stoop, squat, and kneel for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to normal noise levels, lighting, ventilation, and temperature conditions.
- Willingness to work around conditions that may include minor cuts, burns, chemical solvents, and cleaners.
- Ability to work at a rapid pace while maintaining accuracy and safety.
- Team-oriented attitude with the ability to interact professionally with coworkers and leadership.
- Ability to operate powered or non-powered material handling equipment, with training provided as required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, assembly, or distribution warehouse environment.
- Experience using material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with OSHA warehouse safety practices.
- Strong attendance, reliability, and ability to adapt to different warehouse functions.
