We are seeking a detail-oriented Fulfillment Operations Associate to support receiving, inventory management, material handling, and fulfillment operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
Fulfillment Operations Associate Responsibilities- Receive, unload, inspect, and process inbound shipments from carriers.
- Perform inventory receiving, storage assignment, auditing, and cycle counting activities.
- Execute picking, kitting, packaging, labeling, sorting, staging, and shipping functions.
- Accurately document receipts, work orders, and inventory transactions using inventory management systems.
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, and electronic pallet jacks (EPJs).
- Identify workflow issues, escalate roadblocks, and support root cause analysis efforts to prevent downstream defects.
- Maintain proper storage and organization of parts, materials, and inventory.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and operational guidelines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of operational excellence.
- 2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations , warehouse, receiving, or inventory management experience.
- Experience with inventory counting, receiving, shipping, picking, kitting, packaging, and material handling processes.
- Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material (BOMs).
- Previous forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills in a technical or operational environment.
- Ability to build positive working relationships and contribute to an inclusive team culture.
- Availability to work a minimum of 45 hours per week, with overtime opportunities available .
- Warehouse, inventory, receiving, or fulfillment experience within the aerospace or automotive industry.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement and root cause analysis initiatives.
The Fulfillment Operations Associate must demonstrate a safety-first mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence. Successful candidates will be comfortable working in a dynamic warehouse environment while supporting inventory accuracy, material flow, and fulfillment performance.
