Job Summary
A growing food and beverage production environment in Kent, WA is seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to support accurate inventory control, warehouse efficiency, and smooth supply chain operations. The Inventory Specialist will play a key role in maintaining accurate stock records, supporting cycle counts, monitoring product movement, and ensuring inventory data is reliable for business planning and production needs. Key Responsibilities
- Perform cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and inventory reconciliation activities to maintain accurate stock records.
- Monitor inventory levels, identify shortages or overages, and communicate potential stock issues to the appropriate teams.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by reviewing transactions, product movement, and system records.
- Process inventory transactions and maintain accurate data within ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems.
- Coordinate with receiving, warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams to support accurate product movement and storage.
- Generate inventory reports, analyze trends, and recommend process improvements to strengthen inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $65,000 to $70,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Perform inventory control, cycle counting, and physical inventory audits.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and support reconciliation activities.
- Coordinate product movement and inventory accuracy with warehouse, receiving, purchasing, and operations teams.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain, or a related environment.
- Experience using ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with basic computer applications.
- Ability to analyze inventory data, identify discrepancies, and recommend practical solutions.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to work in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or food and beverage production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, or similar platforms.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, industrial, or food and beverage production environments.
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices, warehouse procedures, and product storage accuracy.
