Job Summary
Lead Cargo Agent organizes warehouse and storage facilities; arranges warehouse handling equipment and loads/unloads air cargo, while maintaining the required safety and quality standards as well as comply with Standard Opering Procedures (SOP) and company policies.
The expected pay re is $19.25/hr. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company mch paid vacion time, sick time, and company paid holidays.
Your activities
- Ensure th financial targets are met in line with the operional plan
- Establish and maintain a high quality standard in the cargo operion; ensure th work flows are constantly improved to cope with competitive requirements.
- Ensure th all subcontracted cargo services providers are closely supervised
- Ensure price increases
- Maintain close and effective business relionships with customer airlines management.
- Maintain a good working relionship with the various control authorities such as Airport Management, Customs, Immigrion, etc.
- Identify root causes of problems and institute corrective actions
- Genere detailed reports and summaries of operions
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to operional performance
- Ensure effective planning methods and procedures are in place and th there are adeque resources, both manpower and equipment, to meet operional requirements
- Oversee and manage employee performance as well as implement required training
Your profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years industry experience
- 3 years managerial / supervisory experience
- Ability to work in a team environment - Ability to deal with conflict
- Excellent organizional and planning skills
- Excellent oral and written communicion skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Technical knowledge of equipment and systems
- Ability to work under pressure
- Customer focus and quality awareness
- Must be able to work in inclement weher
