Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator for an opportunity in Seattle, WA. This role is ideal for a highly organized logistics professional who enjoys coordinating suppliers, vendors, drivers, warehouse teams, and shipment documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in keeping daily supply chain operations running smoothly by supporting inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, preparing bills of lading, and resolving delivery or documentation issues. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with supportive operations teams and leadership that values accuracy, communication, follow-through, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely material deliveries and resolve shipment, documentation, or delivery issues.
- Prepare, review, and verify bills of lading and other shipping documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Communicate with drivers, dispatch teams, and transportation partners regarding pickup times, delivery instructions, dock assignments, and load readiness.
- Support warehouse floor teams to ensure shipments are staged, loaded, received, and processed according to schedule.
- Track inbound and outbound shipments, update logistics systems, and proactively address delays, exceptions, or inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, shipment logs, receiving reports, vendor updates, and related logistics documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $60,000 to $75,000 per year.
- Location: Seattle, WA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipment activity across suppliers, vendors, drivers, and warehouse teams.
- Manage bills of lading, shipping documentation, shipment tracking updates, and logistics records.
- Support inventory accuracy through cycle count assistance, discrepancy research, and inventory system updates.
- Troubleshoot supplier delays, delivery issues, documentation errors, and warehouse coordination challenges.

- 6 to 10 years of logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, supplier coordination, or related experience.
- Hands-on experience creating, reviewing, and managing bills of lading with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong driver communication skills, including coordination with dispatch, carriers, and transportation partners.
- Experience working directly with warehouse floor teams to support shipping, receiving, staging, and loading activities.
- Familiarity with inventory tracking tools, logistics systems, ERP systems, or related warehouse management systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, strong follow-through, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in supplier management or vendor management.
- Knowledge of freight terminology, shipping documentation, and logistics workflows.
- Background in manufacturing, distribution, warehouse operations, or transportation environments.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic reporting tools.
