Freight Receiving Clerk Job Description Join our team as a Freight Receiving Clerk, where you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient receipt of all incoming products. This role involves physically demanding tasks such as unloading trailers by hand, verifying shipments, and ensuring all shipment information is correct. You will also work with an inventory management system, requiring strong attention to detail. Flexibility is key, as you may also assist in other areas such as kitting and shipping. Responsibilities Receive all incoming products and manually unload trailers. Verify incoming shipments and ensure accuracy of information. Utilize inventory management systems with precision and attention to detail. Assist with kitting and shipping as needed. Count inventory accurately and consistently. Perform cycle counts and inventory control tasks. Essential Skills 1+ year of freight receiving experience. Strong attention to detail. Experience receiving against purchase orders with high SKU counts. Ability to count accurately and consistently. Proficiency in inventory management systems. Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Experience with pallet jacks, FedEx, UPS, inbound and outbound shipping.
