Waste and Recycling Dispatch Manager

A well-reputable company in the Pacific Northwest is seeking an experienced Waste & Recycling Dispatch Manager to oversee daily collection and recycling dispatch operations. This role is responsible for managing drivers, coordinating routes, improving efficiency, and ensuring safe, compliant operations. Key Responsibilities Manage daily dispatch operations and route scheduling Coordinate drivers, fleet availability, and service coverage Monitor route efficiency and resolve service issues in real time Ensure DOT, OSHA, and environmental compliance Track operational KPIs, safety performance, and customer service standards Support driver supervision, scheduling, and training Maintain dispatch records and fleet communication systems Qualifications 3+ years of dispatch, logistics, transportation, or fleet management experience Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Waste, recycling, trucking, or environmental services experience is a plus Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Experience with dispatch and routing software preferred Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off & Holidays Bonus Opportunities Career Growth Opportunities Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday with occasional on-call or weekend coverage as needed.
