Forklift Operator

Forklift Operator Location : Knoxville, TN Pay Rate: $17-hour Job Summary: Seeking a skilled and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our Knoxville team. This position is responsible for operating sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers to move, locate, stack, and count materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has experience with powered industrial trucks and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Key Responsibilities Operate sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers to transport materials safely and efficiently Load and unload trucks, trailers, and storage racks Pick and stage orders accurately using a cherry picker Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards Assist with general warehouse duties as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous forklift experience required (sit-down and cherry picker) Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification Ability to work at heights and in narrow aisles Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods Basic math and reading skills for order accuracy Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Work Environment Warehouse environment with varying temperatures Frequent lifting, bending, and standing Operation of heavy machinery and powered equipment Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
