Warehouse Operator

Only qualified Operator 1 Warehouse Operations candidates located near Four Oaks North Carolina area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***

Required Education
High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Certifications
Forklift certification
Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses certifications or training as needed

Required Experience
Zero to one year warehouse experience or related experience and or training
Minimum six months forklift operating experience required
Experience in warehouse logistics material handling or manufacturing environments preferred
Experience operating slip and clamp attachments preferred
Ability to work in a metrics driven environment
Experience maintaining records and inventory documentation preferred

Tech Skills
Forklift operation experience
Ability to operate conveyors cranes handcarts and power trucks
Material handling and warehouse operations knowledge
Ability to read write interpret and comprehend documents written in English
Basic math calculation skills
General computer skills
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and quality guidelines

Physical Demands
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted
Ability to stand walk stoop kneel balance climb crouch reach pull push and grasp regularly
Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
Ability to work near moving mechanical equipment
Ability to work in hot summer conditions with no air conditioning
Ability to work in cold winter conditions with limited heating
Ability to work in moderate to loud noise environments
Ability to occasionally work at heights and around fumes airborne particles and vibration
Steel toe shoes required

Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
Move materials parts assemblies and finished goods throughout the warehouse and facility
Load unload transport and stage materials as required
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Follow standard operating procedures and quality requirements
Support warehouse logistics and material management activities
Complete routine warehouse tasks accurately and efficiently
Adhere to all safety policies procedures and operational guidelines
Work effectively with supervisors and team members
Assist with inventory movement storage and organization of materials
