Hiring Parts & Inventory Coordinator Transportation Company

We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our mechanic shop team at a growing transportation company. This position focuses on managing parts inventory, coordinating parts purchases and sales, and assisting our mechanics with obtaining needed parts efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and track mechanic shop parts inventory
- Order, receive, organize, and stock parts and supplies
- Negotiate pricing and availability with vendors and suppliers
- Assist with purchasing and selling parts as needed
- Pick up ordered parts using a company vehicle
- Maintain accurate inventory records and invoices
- Coordinate with mechanics to ensure timely parts availability
- Help keep the shop organized and running efficiently

Requirements:
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of automotive or diesel/mechanical parts
- Experience with inventory management is a plus
- Ability to negotiate pricing and build vendor relationships
- Dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented
- Must be able to pass background check
