About the Role To Apply for this Job Click Here Are you a detail-oriented professional with purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience looking to take on a Purchasing Agent role with a great team? This position offers the opportunity to join a well-established company where you'll play a key role in supporting daily purchasing operations and vendor coordination. Key Responsibilities Create, process, and track purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures Communicate with vendors regarding order details, pricing, availability, lead times, and shipping logistics Coordinate with internal departments to confirm purchasing needs and ensure timely fulfillment Monitor open purchase orders and proactively follow up on delayed shipments or backorders Resolve discrepancies related to invoices, pricing, deliveries, and order accuracy Required Qualifications 1+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain coordination , or related roles (Candidates with titles such as Purchasing Agent, Buyer, Procurement Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, or potentially AP experience may be a fit.) Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and follow-up abilities Comfortable working fully onsite in a collaborative office environment Preferred Qualifications AA or BA/BS in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field Experience working in purchasing or ERP systems (client uses proprietary software; prior system-specific experience not required) Ideal Candidate Professional, reliable, and easy to work with A self-starter who can quickly learn processes and execute independently Someone adaptable and comfortable working with a newer manager who values a thoughtful hiring process Team-oriented with a positive, no-drama attitude If this sounds like you, please reply and attach your resume - we're looking for someone to start ASAP!
