Strategic Operations Manager Onsite Reports To Enterprise Account Director Location Louisville KY Environment Onsite with Customer Who We Are Recognized by Gartner in their Modern 4PL Market Guide Redwood Logistics is at the forefront of industry innovation Our cutting edge supply chain technology pairs with the expertise of our brilliant minds to empower logistics execution across North America and Mexico Leveraging a comprehensive range of services data centric network solutions and a seamlessly integrated platform we have established our prominence as a key player in the mid market segment within the freight tech industry Whether youre just starting your career or are an established professional looking for your next opportunity Redwood inspires innovation across teams to provide transformative solutions for our customers Purpose of Your Work As Strategic Operations Manager working within Managed Service one of our entities you will be responsible for operating as a key member of Redwoods embedded operations team within a flagship enterprise partner You will support transportation execution resolve operational challenges coordinate with carriers and 3PL partners on issue resolution and ensure the reliable flow of materials into manufacturing production operation This role requires a strong operator mindset balancing urgency ownership and sound decision making in a fast paced and highly visible environment while partnering directly with customer stakeholders The position carries a high degree of visibility and accountability directly influencing customer success while serving as a critical leader within the Redwood operations team How You Make a Difference Everyday Lead end to end transportation execution across manufacturing sites and network flowsMaintain real time visibility into inbound materials shipment status and production prioritiesProactively identify risks delays capacity constraints service failures and drive swift resolutionOwn and manage escalations coordinating across carriers suppliers and internal teamsPartner closely with material planners warehouse teams and customer stakeholders to align execution with production needsDeliver timely updates insights and recommendations to ensure continuity of operationsAlign transportation strategies with evolving operational and production requirementsDrive performance against KPIs across service cost and execution metricsFoster accountability and execution discipline across all stakeholdersIdentify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance processes and outcomesRepresent Redwood onsite as a trusted responsive and solutions oriented partnerParticipate in business reviews training sessions and onsite meetings as a key transportation leaderProvide after hours support when needed to ensure uninterrupted customer operations Youve Got This High School diploma required;
