Outlet Lead
RINCON, GA
Serena & Lily is seeking an Outlet Lead. The Outlet Lead is responsible for overseeing daily outlet floor operations within the Serena & Lily Distribution Center. This role ensures accurate inventory control, efficient product flow, and a safe, organized outlet environment while providing hands-on leadership to the outlet team. The Outlet Lead acts as a point of contact between management and associates to support operational goals and customer fulfillment standards. This position reports to the Outlet Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
Operations & Inventory Management
- Lead daily outlet operations, including product movement, organization, and storage.
- Ensure outlet inventory is properly located, labeled, and accounted for in the WMS.
- Coordinate the movement of outlet, bulk, and clearance items to designated locations.
- Pick, stage, and prepare merchandise weekly for shipment to outlet store locations, ensuring accuracy, proper labeling, and on-time readiness.
- Support cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of outlet inventory.
- Ensure damaged, returned, or RA-designated items are routed appropriately (e.g., Quality/FITS).
Team Leadership & Support
- Provide day-to-day directions to outlet associates and temporary labor as needed.
- Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure priorities are met.
- Train team members on outlet processes, safety standards, and inventory procedures.
- Communicate expectations clearly and address performance or attendance concerns promptly.
Safety & Compliance
- Promote and enforce all safety policies and DC procedures.
- Ensure proper use of equipment and adherence to material handling standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free outlet area.
Communication & Coordination
- Partner with Receiving, Shipping, Inventory Control, and Management teams to support workflow.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and resource needs to leadership.
- Assist with planning labor needs, including overtime or weekend work when required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or outlet environment
- Prior lead or informal supervisory experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Proficiency with WMS systems, RF scanners, or inventory tools
Preferred:
- Experience in furniture, home goods, or large-item distribution
- Forklift or powered industrial equipment certification (or ability to obtain)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely
Compensation:
- $22/hr
