Shipping Clerk

Shipping Clerk Wage: $23.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm We are searching for candidates with prior experience for our 1st shift Shipping Clerk role! The ideal candidate will have experience with domestic shipping regulations, customer service, and is good with computers and communication. Shipping Clerk Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Provide communication with other department personnel, including customer service (shortages, backorders, planning issues, etc.) - Maintain accurate picture records (storage in T Drive) - Perform Ship Confirm on a real time basis (timely distribution of paperwork) - Assist with scheduling and planning of daily loads for domestic shipments (LTL) - Troubleshoot and work under pressure (tight schedules, missing product, overweight loads, etc.) - Use computer (Oracle, OTM, Excel) - Perform administrative duties (creating/printing schedules, answering phones, filing paperwork) Shipping Clerk Requirements: - Prior factory and shipping experience - Prior customer service experience preferred - Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds boxes of paper - Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout shift - Ability to work with domestic shipping regulations - Ability to read, write, and do basic math in English - Strong communication skills both inside and outside of business unit - Ability to multi-task several projects at a time - Ability to provide and coordinate complex shipping documents - Good computer skills - Ability to work in a team environment - Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instruction IND060 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
