Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning assigning and directing work; scheduling and managing overtime appraising performance; disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Keep all aspects of inventory accurate; whether receiving off the floor or receiving from outside vendors. Manage housekeeping in dock area. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold and long periods of time on foot on hard surfaces. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Other duties include ensuring that all product quality and safety processes are being followed consistently promoting a safe work environment and performing other responsibilities as needed.
