**Job Description**
The Material Handler is responsible for managing and storing materials to fulfill production requirements, ensuring efficient movement and disbursement using PIT equipment. This role involves approximately 60% forklift operation and 40% manual picking.
**Responsibilities**
+ Complete PIT equipment training and become certified to drive at the facility.
+ Ensure proper warehousing of materials.
+ Attend daily pre-shift meetings.
+ Learn and utilize the inventory management system.
+ Understand and follow instructions on build tickets and picking documents.
+ Safely and properly move materials from trucks to docks, docks to rack locations, rack locations to picking areas, and picking areas to kits, production, and outbound customer facilities.
+ Adhere to all safety regulations.
+ Support Quality and Environmental policies and Management Systems.
+ Perform other duties as needed or required.
**Essential Skills**

+ Ability to pick and sort materials
+ RF scanner usage
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Entry level accepted

The role takes place in a production facility with six assembly lines. The work is conducted Monday through Friday with available shifts from 1st to 2nd (3pm - 12:30am). Employees are required to wear PPE, including steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt, with eye, ear, and hand protection provided.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
