In this full-time, hybrid/remote role based in Denver, PA , you'll be responsible for sourcing the materials and services that keep our operations running efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Execute purchasing strategies and negotiate optimal terms with suppliers Monitor vendor performance and ensure on-time delivery Collaborate with stakeholders to identify material needs and document clear requirements Track and report key metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness Forecast market trends and assess risks in buyer-supplier dynamics Manage inbound freight programs to minimize costs Maintain inventory levels to reduce stockouts and obsolete items Draft and review contracts, modifying terms as needed Partner with reliable vendors and conduct annual audits of key suppliers What We're Looking For: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Degree in supply chain, logistics, or business administration preferred CPP/CPPM or similar certification is a plus 3+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Familiarity with ERP systems and data analysis tools Solid judgment and decision-making abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in a hybrid/remote setup with occasional on-site needs Ability to work on-site in Denver, PA Primary Location: On-site - Denver, PA Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week At Direct Wire & Cable, we believe in taking care of our employees from day one.
