Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Elizabethtown, PA

Job Type: Full-Time (Temp to Hire)

Job Overview:

This role is essential in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including safely handling products in a cold storage environment. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and have strong forklift experience, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Forklifts Safely: Load and unload trucks efficiently.
• High-Reach & Sit-Down Storage: Store products in designated areas using the appropriate forklift.
• Pallet Building: Build and stack pallets up to 6 feet high.
• Accurate Order Picking: Achieve high picking accuracy and meet quotas (120 cases/hour for Single Source orders).
• Support Production: Handle raw materials and finished goods for food production.
• Safety & Waste Management: Secure loads properly and dispose of waste as required.
• General Warehouse Duties: Assist with dock operations, moving wooden skids, and other assigned tasks.

Physical & Safety Requirements:

• Frequent bending, squatting, twisting, and grasping.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in cold conditions and around heavy machinery.
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols.
• Working Conditions: Cold and damp environments, including freezers (32F, freezer temperatures: 0F to -10F)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of high-reach and sit-down forklift experience in a warehouse setting.
• Dock operations and order picking experience preferred.
• FSQA training completion is a plus.
• Strong basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Familiarity with general warehouse operations.
