Role Overview: The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the organization of the inbound and outbound movement of goods using the human and technical resources that the company is providing for the tasks. This role will manage the handling of finished products and raw materials laid out in the warehouse, maximizing capacities and follow good manufacturing practices which will be key for the role. Job Duties:
  • Analyze shipment logs.
  • Organize and schedule warehouse inbound and outbounds with the logistic team. Ensure that the warehouse capacity is optimized as per the factory requirements.
  • Review timeliness of scheduled deliveries.
  • Track and manage inventory levels.
  • Manage track and order new supplies in a timely manner.
  • Make suggestions and implement changes for productivity improvements.
  • Optimize employee workflow by managing the scheduled inbound and outbound shipment. Take into account warehouse and forklift capacities and communicate changes to the impacted parties and workflows.
  • Determine and track warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including but not limited to Inbound and Outbounds product amounts, warehouse occupancy, total delivers and customer requirements.
  • Keep Warehouse clean and meeting specifications and KPIs. Coach employees on meeting the standards.
  • Ensure that facility equipment is properly maintained.
  • Provides support in the management of product quality and ensures compliance with quality and sanitation policies, procedures and systems to include HACCP, GMPs and the management and reduction of consumer complaints.
  • Contributes towards all safety initiatives inclusive of designing customized action plans for various Food Safety and Quality scenarios.
  • Follows all requirements of ISO, SQF, Safety, Hygiene and Environmental.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other leaders and employees.
  • Interview, hire, train, guide and evaluate new warehouse workers.
Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelors' degree is required, Business Administration or Logistics is preferred.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to handle logistical operations is required. SAP knowledge is highly desired.
  • Forklift Operation Certification is required within 90 days of hire.
  • Five (5-7) years of experience in a Warehouse leadership role is required, Supervisor or higher is preferred. Experience in food industry is preferred.
  • Ability to manage inventory is required.
  • Ability to analyze and provide insights from data is required.
  • Proven track record as a team player is required.
  • Effective time-management, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.
  • Experience in Warehouse management of multi products and multi SKUs is required.
  • Certifications such as Hazard and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and International Standard Organization (ISO) are preferred.
  • SAP system understanding and experience is preferred.
The pay for this role in the state of NJ ranges from $74,000 - $98,000 and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location. Actual pay within this range may be determined based on candidate's experience, qualifications and/or other determining factors. Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
