General Laborer**
**Job Description**
As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, inventory control, mailing, processing return items, cleaning equipment, and maintaining warehouse housekeeping. You must take ownership of tasks and complete them independently while maintaining HIPAA/patient confidentiality. Compliance with laws, regulations, and policies is mandatory and considered an essential element of job performance. The role requires standing for long periods, mechanical inclination, computer literacy, and adaptability to switch between different tasks daily.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manage warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, and inventory control.
+ Process return items and maintain warehouse housekeeping.
+ Operate equipment for cleaning and transferring supplies.
+ Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies.
+ Stand for long periods and perform tasks such as bending, reaching, and lifting.
+ Pack and load products weighing 5-10 lbs into boxes repetitively throughout the shift.
+ Switch work areas daily based on shipping orders.
+ Lift up to 50 pounds and handle heavy lifting tasks.
+ Package approximately 300 packages per shift.
+ Utilize rf scanner and perform inventory counts.
+ Pull parts and materials using a pallet jack.
+ Engage in order picking, stacking, and warehouse shipping.
**Essential Skills**
+ General labor experience.
+ Production and assembly skills.
+ Packing and loading capabilities.
+ Forklift operation proficiency.
+ Ability to stand for long periods.
+ Mechanical inclination.
+ Computer literacy.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
+ Physical endurance for bending, reaching, and lifting.

**Work Environment**
Work in a clean warehouse environment with no extreme temperatures. The standard start time is 6:50 am to 4:00 pm, with flexibility to start at 6:30 am or 7:00 am in a new facility, allowing for an early leave at 3:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Asheville, North Carolina.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
