The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager, with a focus on Logistics, to join our team. This role will be based in our Roebuck, SC manufacturing plant. The successful employee will have proven experience of running multiple projects. They will also display a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross functional problems.

You'll make an impact by:

Responsibilities

  • Execute all logistics and transport-related activities in projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and materials.
  • Communicate project logistics information to relevant parties, including project teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Develop comprehensive logistics plans, considering factors such as budget, timelines, and project requirements.
  • Manage storage requirements for project materials, coordinating with warehouse personnel to optimize space utilization.
  • Assist in expediting project timelines by proactively addressing logistics challenges and resolving issues promptly.
  • Help coordinate VAT and duties related to project logistics, ensuring adherence to legal requirements.

You'll have an impact by having the following minimum qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in project logistics and transport operations, preferably in a project-based environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of shipping and transportation processes, including customs regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Proficiency in using logistics management software and tools.
  • Experience with Bill of Material structure to develop and ensure material presentation and efficient organized layout.
  • Experience in Low-Cost project Automation and Dashboards implementation such as OEE, KPIs metrics SQDCI.

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
