Overview
As a Forklift Operator - Pallet Sorter is responsible for Heavy Lifting by hand sorting pallets to grade while ensuring all trash and debris is removed from pallets prior to returning to customer. When using a forklift the Operator moves pallets and other materials through warehouse, supporting production requirements in those areas, as well as loading and unloading customer trailers. Forklift is 50% Pallet Sorting by hand is 50% . This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site!
Hourly Pay:
$16.50/hr.
Shift(s):
2nd shift: Schedules will vary NIGHT shift is 5:00pm - 3:30am

4505 Highway 524, Cocoa FL 32926
What You'll Do
Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment
Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times
Hand-sorting wooden pallets, when required
Repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required
Maintain a clean & safe working environment
What You'll Need
High School Diploma or GED
Forklift certification preferred
1-3 years of forklift experience
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred
Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment
Ability to communicate effectively
Willing to work overtime as needed

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs
