Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (Plenty of Overtime!)
Assignment Type: Temp-to-Perm
Ready to work with your hands, learn new skills, and be part of a hardworking team? We're hiring a Material Handler Fabricator to join a growing pipe distribution yard in Tampa, FL.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential and consistent hours. You'll help move and process large steel pipe products in a non-climate-controlled environmentplease note, this is not an air-conditioned facility, and it can get very hot.
What You'll Be Doing
Move loose or bundled pipe within the yard and fabrication shop
Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintainanized work supplies
Safely cut, thread, bevel, and stack pipe using hand tools and fabrication equipment
Operate forklifts and other powered equipment according to OSHA andpany safety policies
Perform accurate measurements with tape measures and record random pipe lengths
Set up and maintain fabrication machines (band saw, torch, threading machines, bevelers)
Support loading, unloading, and preparation for shipping
Inspect forklift and other equipment daily to ensure safety and function
Follow established SOPs for fabrication, maintenance, and machine operation
What We're Looking For
6 months to 2 years of recent industrial, mechanical, or fabrication experience
Previous experience in pipe yards, construction, automotive, diesel, farm equipment, or mechanical maintenance is a big plus
Strong attention to safety and detail in a hands-on environment
Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Comfortable working in hot, non-climate-controlled environments
Basicputer knowledge (email, data entry)
Team player with strongmunication and problem-solving skills

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
