NexTerra is looking for a Warehouse Picker to help fulfill orders in our Winery. The current hours for this position are Monday - Thursday, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm (40 hours). Occasional overtime may be available on Fridays. Our warehouse team may work certain holidays, including the day after Thanksgiving, as well as occasional Fridays in November and December. This is a great starting position with room for growth. We will provide all hands-on training for the right candidate, including forklift certification.

Our company has recently introduced new equipment to make our picking process easier and less physically demanding.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Picking wine cases using lift-assist systems
• Checking and inspecting goods ready for shipping and ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type, and acceptable quality.
• Moving and organizing inventory using electric pallet jacks (we will train).
• Ensuring a clean and safe workhouse for staff to work in.
• Storing inventory away safely.
• Removing warehouse waste products from the warehouse
• General Warehouse Housekeeping duties including sweeping and picking up around the warehouse.

Requirements:

• Full time availability

Competencies:

· Attention to detail

· Experience using RF Scanners and Warehouse Management System is
helpful

Physical Job Functions:

· Must be able to bend, stoop and twist

· Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours a day on concrete surfaces

· Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may be warm in the
summer months and cool in the winter months
