POSITION SUMMARY
The individual in this role will monitor and track the movement of products to distribution facilities and customer delivery destinations. Additionally, this position is responsible for handling billing and tracking processes for customer deliveries, along with coordinating the workflow on the dock floor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitates communication and coordination between logistics functions, such as transportation and warehousing, to ensure efficient and cost-effective support for customers.
- Collaborates with customers to understand their logistics objectives, priorities, and schedules, ensuring they are met and effectively communicated to management.
- Manages activities related to invoicing customers and other relevant organizations.
- Tracks shipments from the issuance of Purchase Orders to their delivery at the final destination.
- Monitors and tracks priority requests, verifies packing lists, and handles other documentation related to materials being delivered to customers at different sites.
- Keeps management and customers informed about the status of deliveries.
- Updates databases and reporting tools to maintain visibility and provide accurate information regarding shipment status.
- Participate in a collaborative work environment utilizing effective communication and willingness to cross train to enhance team productivity, versatility, and skill development.
- Comply with comprehensive safety protocols and participate in ongoing training to ensure a secure work environment and maintain a safety-conscious culture.
- Follow all 5S principles and guidelines daily to optimize workflow, efficiency, and a clean work environment.
- Undertakes additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by management.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, & Skills required)
- Preferred: High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification; 2 years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office and Outlook, ERP experience preferred
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of following instructions and responding to management direction.
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exhibits experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
- Has the ability to read and interpret various documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment
This role involves working in a warehouse setting. In the warehouse, standard equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, cameras, and material handling equipment (forklift, reach truck, order picker, etc.) are used.
