Material Handler/Runner 2nd shift

Nesco Resource is currently seeking a Material Handler/Runner for a Food Production facility in Ferndale, MI. Shift: 2:30p to 11:00p Pay: $15.00 Job Summary: The primary function of the Material Handler/Runner is to move materials, supplies and finished goods to and from warehouse storage and the production floor. Duties (including but not limited to): Ensure that proper supplies are positioned to assigned workstations Communicate with line workers and machine operators Retrieve/stage bottles, lids, slip sheets and finished goods Remove debris from pallets, bins, tubes and power jacks Operate and maintain power pallet jack equipment Remove packing, banding, cardboard and strapping materials from the production floor At end of shift, complete all required paperwork, perform general housekeeping and clean-up as required Requirements: Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly and independently Relevant warehouse experience required Power pallet jack operation experience required Food production experience is a plus Environment: 40 degrees inside at all times Wet conditions inside Food allergen exposure Seasonal outdoor weather 10% standing and 90% walking Nesco Resource and affiliates (Lehigh G.I.T Inc, and Callos Resource, LLC) is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics with respect to employment opportunities.
