Materials Handler II United States - California - West Coast Distribution Center Regular Full Time Job Description Under general supervision at a warehouse management system (WMS) distribution center, performs a variety of skilled warehousing duties in either receiving, storage, order selection or shipping. Will use a VDT/PC to perform select computer applications or determine data available from inquiry screens. May use a forklift, pallet jack or other materials handling equipment (MHE) to include conveyors. Assists in the training and development of associates. Facility Name WCDC SHIP LANE 26-36 Job Grade 5 Career Area Logistics Supervisor No Job Qualifications Education: Completion of high school or the equivalent. Creditable job-related experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a 9-months for 9-months basis. Experience: Six months progressively responsible general experience plus a minimum of six months specialized experience in receiving, storing or shipping merchandise and processing documents in a mechanized distribution center. Operation of MHE or motor vehicles is subject to prescribed licensing requirements. If a sufficient number of qualified candidates do not apply, the minimum qualifications may be lowered without reposting.
