Component Planning: End to end component planning for strategic components such as Memory Commodity (DRAM, eMMC, QSPI NAND Flash), Strategic ICs (Timing, Power, CPLD, FPGA), Interconnects (OSFP, QSFP), Custom Mechanicals (Liquid Cooling Cold Plate assemblies) and Manufactuaring Test Equipment (MTP) Material such as SODIMMs, M.2 NVMe SSDs, FPGAs, etc.
Consignment Model Management: Manage Buy/Sell transactions between Supplier and Contract Manufacturer (CM) Release PO to lead time in SAP/Ariba and confirm supplier delivery commits. Track Component Cost throughout Component life cycle. Assist with the following:
Escalate with Sourcing Managers where supplier support is needed
Suppliers sync up meetings with BU Technical/Marketing team for update on roadmap and align BU roadmap with latest technology
Manage LTB and qualifications for transition part as needed
E&O Management with Finance
Inventory Management: Monitoring supply commits, delivery notes, good receipts, and stock levels to determine when and how much material to drive weekly/monthly/quarterly.
Supply/Demand Modeling: Develop and Maintain Supply/Demand charts for strategic components and present analysis to cross-functional teams. Drive and follow up on supply chain actions to closure with cross functional team.
Demand Analysis: Collaborating with demand planners to translate sales forecasts into component plans and mitigate stock outs and excess/obsolete liability. Track and analyze demand fluctuations and impact to supply plan with respect to excess/obsolete liability and driving additional orders/pull-ins/push-outs.
Supplier Coordination: Communicating with external vendors and sourcing team to track shipments and resolve material delays.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary materials liaison between Commodity Sourcing teams and global suppliers to provide visibility on long range planning and supply/demand trends. Manage Contract Manufacturer (CM) material reconciliation on cycle count discrepancies and work with Finance to resolve variances cause with material attrition.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 35 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or materials planning within a manufacturing environment (semiconductors, medical devices, or consumer electronics are highly preferred).
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and data analysis tools (Advanced Excel, Tableau, or SQL).
Analytics: Strong capability to utilize statistical models and AI tools for predicting material requirements.
Soft Skills: Exceptional cross-functional communication and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Professional certifications such as APICS CSCP, CPIM, or PMP.
Experience working directly with Component Suppliers, Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) and Contract Manufacturers (CMs).
