Materials Handler

Job Description:

Essential Duties:

• Supply parts to Scrubs production area via mobile equipment, by hand and/or by other means.
• Must be forklift qualified.
• Responsible for the safe conduct and operation of Scrubs line equipment.
• Able to account for all inbound material.
• Responsible for all trash removal and removal of hazardous material wastes.
• Flexible and adaptable to an ever changing production environment.
• Able to maintain workflow by being aware of materials required days in advance.
• Must maintain warehouse (finished goods, non-inventory items)
• Maintain compliance with relevant FDA regulations
• Able to comprehend the Kan Ban system and order raw materials.
• Responsible for adherence to all housekeeping standards for this department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Expereince:

• High School or GED preferred, not required.
• One year related manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.

Work Environment:

• Work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a safe work place in a Just-In -Time environment.
• Other forklift traffic/stop signs/small areas of maneuverability.
• Drive forklift with caution, and watch for pedestrians.
