Dispatcher

Our client, a leading logistics and transportation organization, is seeking a Dispatcher to join their team. As a Dispatcher, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting transportation and delivery services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Dispatcher

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Pay Range: $24

Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Coordinate daily transportation and delivery operations by scheduling routes and assigning drivers
• Monitor shipments to ensure on-time, compliant service and resolve issues in real time
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, internal teams, and customers
• Maintain accurate documentation in dispatch systems and support safe workflow practices
• Assist with cold chain management, including packaging and refrigeration needs

• Combination of office and warehouse work
• Occasional work inside trucks for loading/unloading
• Periodic exposure to refrigerated and freezer environments (protective gear provided)

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Two to three years of experience in a related field preferred
• Proficient computer skills and excellent communication abilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed
