We are looking for a Sr Materials Analyst to join our team in Greensboro, NC. In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting product lifecycle planning, inventory optimization, and production readiness across pre-production and production phases. This role partners closely with Operations Planning, Program Management, Finance, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate forecasting, effective materials management, and seamless product transitions into manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities- Supports Ops Planning Manager, Program Manager and PL Finance team in the Monthly Forecast Review Process for pre & post PDP-3 products (reviews BOM, Master Data, Yields, other inventory analytics, inventory reserves, etc.)
- Work closely with Program Manager, Planner, Master Data team and PLOPS Manager to ensure part numbers are set up in SAP to match product supply chain flow
- Uses PDE & SAP for Plant 3000 forecast BOM set ups (costs, procurement keys, routings) and works with Operations/Global Planning when material transitions from PL Pre-Production to Production.
- Supports movement of prototype final BOM materials to Operations to support production ramp
- Monthly review of Product Line owned inventory - obsolescence, aged inventory, scrap, long term holds, rejects, shelf life, Quality Inspection, FG sample stock, etc. and creating DAF
- Supports BU OPS Manager with the Production Ramp Readiness Process
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in materials planning, supply chain, or inventory analysis
- Strong experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and BOM management
- Proficiency in data analysis and forecasting tools
- Understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) and production ramp processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail with ability to manage complex data sets
- Cross-functional collaboration and communication
- Knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
