Job Title: Inventory Receiving Supervisor
Department: Purchasing
Reports to: Executive Chef and Purchasing Manager;
various supplemental functions directed by the Director of Finance
SUMMARY
An Inventory Receiving Supervisor is responsible for assisting the purchasing manager, resort managers and executive chef in the storeroom and purchasing organization functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintaining inventory stock levels according to par levels established by the Executive Chef and Resort Management
- Assist in period end counts of both food and beverage items, tracking food and beverage credit and charges. Separate and establish charges in multiple business units, create lists and retain documents for monthly reporting
- Proper food rotation, stocking storeroom areas in an organized manner, practicing the FIFO rotation methods and keeping the overall department in a condition required by local health and sanitation guidelines
- Assist resort management food, beverage, sundries, chemicals and RESORT WIDE product sourcing and procurement
- Entering invoices into spreadsheets and creating purchase orders as directed by resort management
- Adhere to control procedures for incoming and outgoing product shipments
- Travel, deliver, stock and clean business units in remote areas of the resort
- Unloading delivery trucks checking incoming shipments against product invoices
- Communicate to all departments regarding orders, product usage and stock levels
- Alert resort departments and notify stakeholders if issues arise regarding requests
- Send emails, enter product information, source products from catalogues, send purchase orders and communicate with vendors
- Properly accounting for the location of incoming goods assuring no damaged items are sent or received
- Update product inventory as products are received and added to the inventory
- Package products for return to vendors and filling out any paperwork necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Requires knowledge of computer hardware, word-processing, spreadsheet, and database software, prefer experience with Microsoft Office.
- Requires knowledge of business letter writing and business forms and office procedures
- English, including vocabulary, correct grammatical usage and punctuation, filing systems, and common office machines and their operation.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Two years of previous warehouse experience is recommended.
- Previous F&B experience desirable
