NOW HIRING SHIPPING & ORDER PICKER
Paramount Staffing is seeking dependable and detail-oriented candidates for a Temp-to-Hire Shipping & Order Picker position with one of our premier manufacturing clients!
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Location: Charlotte, NC Area
Schedule:
Monday Thursday: 2:00 PM 10:30 PM
Friday: 12:00 PM 8:30 PM
Position Overview:
Join a fast-paced warehouse environment where youll play a key role in accurately picking, packing, and shipping customer orders while ensuring inbound and outbound freight is handled safely and efficiently.
Job Duties Include:
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
Verify orders against packing slips and purchase orders
Process UPS, FedEx, LTL, and freight shipments
Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping labels, and invoices
Receive and verify incoming inventory
Load and unload freight trucks
Wrap and secure palletized shipments
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment (experience preferred)
Assist with inventory counts and maintain an organized work area
Follow OSHA and warehouse safety procedures
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
At least 1 year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or order picking experience
Forklift experience or certification is a plus
Basic computer skills (SAP or inventory systems experience preferred)
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 75 lbs occasionally
