Position Summary:
The Master Scheduler is responsible for scheduling and monitoring the movement of material through the production cycle for value streams which are complex or in transformation.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and manage component and assembly schedules that ensure on time delivery to customers while minimizing excess inventory. Provide support to Operations to create a steady flow of material and information. Work with cross-functional teams to improve overall value stream performance.
- Assist Supply Chain, Logistics, and Operations associates to use best practices for controlling and flowing materials through each step from the supplier through the organization to the customer.
- Update and analyze metrics such as on time delivery, inventory levels, and cycle counting and support continuous improvement through problem-solving techniques.
- Lead Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process from preparation through review meetings and execution.
- Leads team activities to analyze and improve planning or related processes. Utilizes value stream mapping, benchmarking and innovation, and lead teams to implement the future state with standard work.
Required Qualifications:
- 4-year college degree in business-related field with certification in Supply Chain Management (SCM) or Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in inventory and production control.

- Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and identify improvement opportunities.
- Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with internal and external contacts.
- Must be an innovator who embraces Lean principles and who takes initiative to create positive change.
