You will be the Transportation Supervisor (Level 3) for the Production, Planning and Controlling organization. Our team is responsible for coordinating the timely movement of material throughout the facility and to local vendors while maintaining a safe, efficient fleet.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Transportation Supervisor (Level 3) you will be responsible for leading the Transportation team and ensuring seamless material flow.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate interdepartmental movement of material across the facility and to external vendors.
- Schedule and oversee maintenance of the transportation fleet to ensure safe working conditions.
- Manage and develop a team of 5+ direct reports, including recruitment, training, performance assessment, and disciplinary actions.
- Delegate assignments and adjust workflows to meet production demands, including work outside normal operating hours.
- Collaborate with production, planning, and control functions to align transportation activities with overall schedule.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Must have or be able to obtain a securityclearance

- Experience and understanding for DOT
regulation for vehicles and drivers
- Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer
systems, databases, and programs
- Previous leadership experience
- Understand the management of budgets- DOT HazMat certification
- Experience managing a represented workforce
- Experience supporting Material Management and accounting System (MMAS)
- APICS Certified in Production and Inventory
Management (CPIM) certification
- Knowledge of industry wide best practices and
process for managing material flow throughout
the entire production supply chain
- Excellent communication skills
