Job Title: Warehouse Worker Chemical Distribution Plant

Job Description

This role works as a warehouse worker in a chemical distribution plant, focusing on cleaning and preparing totes, correctly labeling products, and supporting general warehouse operations such as inventory, picking, packing, and loading and unloading trucks. Responsibilities

  • Wash and clean totes after chemicals are shipped back to the plant, ensuring they meet cleanliness and safety standards.

  • Scrape off old labels from totes and containers to prevent misidentification of products.

  • Re-label totes accurately with the correct product information and ensure all labels are clearly visible and compliant with site requirements.

  • Complete manual fills of products into totes or containers as directed, following established procedures.

  • Stage cleaned, filled, and labeled totes for shipment in the designated areas.

  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently using appropriate methods and equipment as directed.

  • Assist with general labor tasks in the warehouse, including picking, packing, and organizing products.

  • Support inventory-related activities such as counting, sorting, and maintaining orderly storage areas.

  • Follow all site procedures and instructions to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Essential Skills

  • Experience performing general labor tasks in a warehouse or production environment.

  • Ability to handle inventory-related tasks such as picking, packing, and staging products.

  • Capability to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.

  • Comfort working in a general production environment, including manual filling and handling of totes.

  • Attention to detail to correctly label products and ensure accurate identification.

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as cleaning totes and scraping labels.

  • Reliability and willingness to follow established processes and work instructions.

Work Environment

The role is based in a chemical distribution plant warehouse that operates in a clean and organized setting. You work on a first shift schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with most Fridays ending at 2:30 p.m. The environment involves handling totes and products related to water and agricultural solutions, performing manual filling, cleaning, labeling, and general warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and loading and unloading trucks. The facility emphasizes orderliness and efficiency, and you work standard weekday hours in a structured warehouse setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fayetteville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
