Hours Worked: Typically Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Technician is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items within a warehouse environment, often including tasks like loading/unloading trucks, operating forklifts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Raw material inventory
Assist line technician during start-up and shut down
Mechanical in nature, disconnect pumps, disassembling pumps
Place tags on rolls of paper
Move pallets of paper rolls to designated areas
Print out Reel Data report for the day and place in box
Operate compactor
Move materials and equipment back and forth from dock to lab areas
Keep materials & equipment storage organized. Ensure equipment and materials are properly separate checked daily
Check inventory weekly and provide inventory sheet to administrator.
Apply CISPRO labels to flammable materials as received
Stretch wrap rolls
General lab maintenance, including using pressure washers and running floor scrubbers
Other duties as assigned
Skills & Proficiencies:
Ability to stand, bend, and be on their feet 10 hours each day
Ability to lift 40lbs; climb up and down industrial stairs safely
Pallet jack trained/certified, no fork lift training required
Proficiency in MS Office and possess ability to learn any new software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be detail-oriented and possess a high degree of accuracy
Excellent analytical and time management skills for success in a fast-paced environment
Absenteeism of 1% or less is expected
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of above.
Compensation Range:
$17 - $18 an hour (e.g., the job posting is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, and actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as locations, education, experience, and skillset).
