Overview

We are seeking an IT Asset Inventory Analyst to support the management, tracking, and maintenance of IT hardware assets within a secure warehouse environment. This role is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining asset controls, supporting hardware lifecycle management, and assisting with device deployment and recovery activities.

The ideal candidate will have previous IT asset management, inventory control, or IT analyst experience and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory control of all IT hardware assets within secured warehouse locations.
  • Perform inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Report hardware compliance discrepancies and inventory concerns promptly.
  • Manage hardware stock levels and maintain established inventory thresholds.
  • Ensure warehouse areas remain organized, secure, and compliant with operational standards.
  • Process check-in and check-out activities for new and refurbished PCs, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Support annual physical inventory activities.
  • Facilitate IT asset disposal and hardware retirement processes.
  • Coordinate and perform repairs of PCs and peripherals covered under manufacturer warranty.
  • Maintain security and access controls for inventory storage areas.
  • Document inventory transactions and asset updates accurately.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in IT asset management, inventory control, hardware logistics, or a related IT support role.
  • Understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and asset lifecycle processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using ServiceNow or similar IT Asset Management platforms.
  • Prior experience in an IT Analyst, Desktop Support, Asset Management, or Technical Operations environment.
  • Experience supporting warehouse-based IT inventory operations.
