We are seeking a dynamic Logistics Coordinator to manage our shipping operations, coordinate with carriers, and help keep our warehouse running like a well-oiled machine.

Primary Responsibilities Logistics & Carrier Coordination

  • Drive Success: Safely operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts as needed.
  • Shipment Management: Schedule and monitor daily inbound/outbound shipments (Small Parcel, LTL, and FTL) using our Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Carrier Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for freight carriers and local couriers, managing pick-up windows and resolving transit delays.
  • Cost Optimization: Secure competitive freight quotes and optimize shipping routes to reduce total landed costs.
Documentation & Compliance

  • Paperwork Accuracy: Generate and audit all shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), packing lists, and international commercial invoices.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous digital and physical records of receiving manifests to ensure pinpoint inventory accuracy.
  • Quality Control: Verify that all outbound packaging meets carrier safety requirements and client-specific kitting standards.
Inventory & Warehouse Integration

  • WMS Tracking: Reconcile physical counts of incoming raw packaging materials against POs in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with kitting and assembly departments to prioritize outbound shipments based on carrier cutoff times.
  • Claims Management: Handle the claims process for any "short-shipped" or damaged materials, coordinating with vendors and insurance providers.
Communication & Reporting

  • Real-Time Updates: Provide tracking updates and Proof of Delivery (POD) to internal account managers and external clients.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and report bottlenecks in the fulfillment cycle to the Operations Manager.
  • Safety First: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dock area to ensure maximum workflow efficiency.
