Position Overview

Under the direction of the Inventory Control Manager, the South-Central Warehouse (SCW) Inventory Control Associate assists with inventory control and reconciliation. Other duties will include keeping inventory records, monitoring and managing shipments, coordinating with vendors, checking item stock levels, conducting data entry, and assisting with the overall organization of the product. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to promptly identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies.

Responsibilities

Responsible for performing daily inventory transactions and data entry

Maintain accurate inventory records and supporting documentation

Generate, verify, and reconcile inventory counts

Conduct cycle counts and investigate inventory variances

Verify accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments

Locate and provide inventory for internal departments as needed

Assist in preparation for annual physical inventory counts and external audits

Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, overages, or inventory concerns

Verify accessory inbound and outbound shipments

Support warehouse organization and inventory accuracy initiatives

Perform additional inventory control and warehouse-related duties as assigned

Requirements

Education:

High school degree or equivalent required

Experience:

1 or more years of experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, or inventory control environment required

Experience conducting cycle counts and inventory reconciliations required

Familiarity with inventory management software such as SAP is preferred

Other Requirements:

Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel required

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Ability to learn and utilize warehouse management systems (WMS)

Basic mathematical and analytical skills

Strong problem-solving skills
