Background & Purpose of the Job:

A Supervisor is assigned to each zone and holds full responsibility for its operations, including safety, quality, efficiency, and accuracy. The Supervisor is accountable for all activities within the zone, including any issues that arise. This role operates under general guidance from the Department Manager and receives daily direction from Department Administration. The Supervisor is responsible for assigning tasks to team members and ensuring all work is completed effectively and in line with established standards.

Who You Are & What You'll Do:

The Distribution Supervisor's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assign specific tasks to team members

  • Schedule and organize daily workflow in alignment with operational plans

  • Reassign employees within the zone as needed to meet priorities

  • Enforce workplace policies and maintain discipline within the team

  • Communicate work-related information clearly and effectively to staff

  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and that visual quality inspections are conducted

  • Monitor staff productivity and run reports to ensure operational efficiency

  • Ensure orders are processed in a timely manner and all compliance requirements are met

  • Assist with the reconciliation of cancellation reports

  • Maintain and ensure inventory accuracy

  • Support the implementation and ongoing compliance of OSHA 18001 Safety and ISO 14001 environmental systems

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous supervisory, task coordination, or project management experience required

  • 3-5 years of distribution or warehouse operations experience

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Additional / Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar systems

  • Solid understanding of distribution and logistics processes

Salary Range: $60,000-65,000 commensurate with experience.
