Location: Lithia Springs, Ga

Pay Rate: $19.25/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Skillfully operate forklifts and other motorized equipment to accurately locate and handle customer products onto/from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
• Count, weigh, and record units handled daily, ensuring data accuracy.
• Execute specialized order processing tasks such as stenciling, slip-sheeting, stretch wrapping, labeling, and consolidating.
• Load and unload products, stage materials, and manage paperwork like Bill of Lading, Pick Reports, and Trailer Audits with attention to detail.
• Assign trailers to dock/yard locations, securing wheel chocks, and adhering to all safety protocols.
• Conduct daily inspections of equipment and trailers, reporting any issues immediately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility, including assisting with building and grounds upkeep.

Required Skills:

• Proven ability to operate forklifts (sit-down and stand-up), pallet jacks, and tow motors.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse procedures.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow safety and operational instructions.
• Good math skills and legible handwriting for accurate recordkeeping.
• Basic computer skills, including use of scanners and on-board systems.
• Attention to detail and the ability to stay focused during repetitive tasks.
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with warehouse management systems or additional operational technology.
• Prior experience in building and grounds maintenance.
• Additional certifications in forklift operation or safety training.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar setting is desirable but not required.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to pass a forklift certification if not already certified.
• Must be comfortable working in a physically active environment and following safety guidelines.
• Reliability and punctuality are a must to ensure seamless operations.
