GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The main function of this position is to provide support to all processes pertaining to Production Planning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES
- Maintain schedules for standard and Key customers for specific product lines.
- Provide production with orders including all the required documents and labels.
- Cancelling or trouble shooting orders that need additional attention.
- Evaluate material availability for Sales Order "Quotes"
- Create and/or plan material requirements for outside vendor/sister company.
- Evaluate finished goods inventory for un-moving material and convert and apply to open orders.
- Run daily shortages report for specific product line including incoming material shipments.
- Process requisition requests from Engineering - new items - need several flags updated.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be proficient in excel, formulas and macros.
EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/LN) software is helpful.
Up to one year of related experience (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions,, Engineering change orders, and procedure manuals.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Intermediate skills: Ability to navigate and use internet/intranet and other programs such as the MS Office package including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access, or Company-wide cross functional Enterprise Resource Planning software. Must be able to perform trouble shooting.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Minimum Skills: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight, volume and distance measurements, as well as American currency.
REASONING ABILITY: Minimum Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

SALARY RANGE
The starting hourly rate for the role is between USD $26.00 and $29.00. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for variable bonus programs and benefits.
