Shift: 3:30 PM 2:00 AM

Position Summary:
The Inventory Coordinator I is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring timely material availability for production operations. This role supports medical device manufacturing in both clean room and warehouse environments, requiring strong attention to detail, SAP proficiency, and the ability to follow regulated processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Kit medical device production orders by accurately counting, verifying, and documenting components against work orders.
  • Perform material transfers and inventory transactions both physically and within the SAP ERP system.
  • Process Goods Receipts and maintain accurate inventory records in SAP.
  • Assign and stage materials to production orders to support manufacturing schedules.
  • Support production teams by ensuring materials are available and delivered on time.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and reconciliation activities.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
  • Follow established work instructions, GMP requirements, and regulated manufacturing procedures.
  • Read and comprehend process documentation and accurately complete required records.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production and inventory goals.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Handle chemicals when required, utilizing proper training and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Work overtime as needed to support business requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a clean room manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on SAP ERP experience, including material movements, inventory transactions, and Goods Receipts.
  • Experience supporting production through material kitting and assigning materials to production orders.
  • Warehouse and inventory control experience.
  • Ability to accurately count, document, and track inventory.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and regulated work instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical device manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (FDA/GMP).
  • Experience with additional ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with Windchill.
  • Experience supporting clean room production operations.

Work Environment:

  • Approximately 65%75% of work is performed in a clean room environment.
  • Remaining work is performed in a warehouse setting supporting material movement and inventory activities.
  • Required PPE includes gown, hairnet, beard net (if applicable), gloves, shoe covers, safety glasses, and safety shoes.
  • Training includes approximately five weeks of onboarding, including hands-on training and mentorship.
