Responsable de lexecution des taches liees a lexpedition, la reception, le stockage et la distribution de produits, materiaux, pieces, fournitures et equipements. Prepare et remplit les commandes, souleve des articles pouvant peser jusqua 35 livres et utilise des balances, des transpalettes et des chariots manuels. Prepare et tient a jour les registres des marchandises expediees et recues. Le commis a lexpedition et a la reception travaille en collaboration avec les ressources internes a differents niveaux afin dassurer la satisfaction des clients internes et externes.
Responsabilites specifiques
Preparation physique des commandes dequipements dautomatisation et de consommables
Utilisation de systemes dexpedition automatises et manuels (ex. : UPS, Purolator, Postes Canada)
Organisation et preparation de lequipement pour le transport vers les clients ou les sites de demonstration
Organisation du transport pour garantir une livraison ponctuelle, securitaire et economique
Reception physique des pieces, materiaux, fournitures et equipements
Verification et traitement des documents dexpedition et de reception dans le systeme ERP, et transmission a la comptabilite si necessaire
Livraison occasionnelle de colis au depot du transporteur ou directement a laeroport pour les envois urgents en dehors des heures normales
Soutien occasionnel aux representants du service a la clientele en automatisation pour le suivi des expeditions et des commandes (par telephone ou courriel)
Mise en place et utilisation des meilleures methodes (y compris des modeles statistiques et logiciels) pour surveiller et rapporter les niveaux dinventaire des produits finis et consommables, et passer les commandes necessaires
Collaboration avec les departements adjacents et la direction pour ameliorer continuellement les techniques et methodes de prevision
Exigences du poste
Minimum dun an dexperience pertinente en gestion dentrepot et dinventaire
Experience en mise en uvre de systemes (ex. : ERP, systemes de gestion dentrepot) consideree comme un atout important
Capacite a etablir la confiance et la credibilite a tous les niveaux de lorganisation
Capacite a prioriser les taches
Bonnes competences en communication et en planification des processus
Competences informatiques avancees, incluant ERP et Microsoft Office (experience avec Epicor est un atout)

Job Summary
Responsible for performing the tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Picks and fills orders, lifts items as heavy as 35 pounds and is required to use weighing scales, pallet handlers and hand trucks. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped and received. The Shipper - Receiver works collaboratively with internal resources at various levels to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
Specific Responsabilities
Physical picking and packing of orders for Automation equipment and consumables.
Use of automated and manual shipping systems (i.e. UPS, Purolator, Canada post).
Organize and prepare equipment for transportation to customer or showcase sites.
Make transportation arrangements to ensure equipment arrives on time and is delivered by the safest and most economical method.
Physical receiving of parts, materials, supplies and equipment.
Ensure related shipping and receiving paperwork are appropriately completed, processed through ERP system and forwarded to Accounting when applicable.
Occasionally bring packages to appropriate courier depot or directly to airport for rush (emergency) shipments in support of after-hours shipping (or after transport pick-up).
Provide occasional support to Automation Customer Service Representatives by tracking and tracing shipments and following up on orders when requested (phone and e-mail support).
Establish and utilize best methods (including statistical models and software) to monitor and report on inventory levels of finished goods and consumables and place orders as required
Work collaboratively with adjacent departments and management to continuously improve forecasting techniques, method, and approach
Position Requirements
A minimum of 1 year relevant work experience in warehouse and inventory management
Experience with systems implementation (i.e. ERP, warehouse management systems, etc.) considered an important asset
Ability to establish trust and credibility at all levels of the organization.
Must be able to prioritize assignments.
Good communication skills and process planning.
Proficient computer skills including ERP and Microsoft Office tools. Epicor experience an asset.
Demonstrate flexibility to effectively respond to shifting priorities.
Work hours are driven by the needs of the customer and the business, which may include overtime and occasional weekends.
Will be on call after hours on a rotation shift.
The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.
